About the Southeast Division of Bowls USA

The Southeast Division (SED) is the second largest geographical division of Bowls USA, the organization that governs the sport of bowls in the United States.
The SED is comprised of lawn bowling clubs in the seven southeastern states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The St. Petersburg Lawn Bowling Club in Florida was built in 1916, and is the tenth oldest club in the USA. Several other clubs became organized in the 1920s.
